Project in progress | Brenner Lake and Bird Center | Type of project: Extensive combined with a commercial tourism project | Area: 120 dunams
Planning, management, fundraising, and close supervision of a reed and the Brenner Ornithological Center which covers an area of 120 dunams and will include a reed constructed of different depths, wetlands, a winter pool, ecological farming areas to create food for rodents to serve as a source of attraction for birds of prey. The reed will also include cliffs for nesting for terns and kingfishers.
The ornithology center will include aviaries for watching the birds and an elevated aviary for viewing on the tops of the trees so that the birds can be watched during the nesting season.
The project is part of the Nahal Ekron National Park and is another ecological tourist attraction as part of the restoration of the river, its environment and the creation of high-quality moist habitats for the flora and fauna.
